Research Activities

There is no mandatory office hours (so called, core time) to work at the lab.

Participating to seminars and paper-readings is mandatory to earn your credits.

All the activities are jointly held with the students who supervised by Prof. Okumura. Student rooms are also shared.

Presentations and meetings in the lab are held in Japanese or English.

Monthly seminars (in 2 afternoons)

Reporting plans and progresses to the members of the joint lab.

Paper readings twice per week (only graduate students make presentations)

Introducing a paper in 20-30 minutes to the lab members. Turns are assigned (one time per semester per person) but papers are chosen by own interests.

Individual research meetings

Scheduled as necessary and on request.
